Baby Update

There is an end in sight!  We know that Harper will join our family no later than Friday, May 27th! We're super excited.  Yesterday's appointment went really well.  The ultrasound measured Harper at 6 lbs 12 oz with a normal sized head.  She was moving around a lot and was "practice breathing" really well.  It was hard to see much, but we did get one close up picture of her mouth and nose.  It appears that she has Brett's mouth, just like Riley.  As for the appointment the doctor stripped my membranes.  Which, holy cow, that hurt like crazy.  And, best news of all, set an induction date of May 26th at 9 pm.  We are going through with our plan to deliver at the new Mercy West Lakes Hospital which we're super excited about.  We toured it a couple weeks ago and it is super nice and only 3 minutes from our house.  They only have 10 beds and about 5 nurses.  While we were there there was only one mom in labor and delivery.  I'll be happy to report how the experience holds up to our experience at Mercy Des Moines.  We are all very excited!!
