Riley Does The Iowa State Fair

As if we didn't have enough excitement last weekend we decided that we would also take Riley to the Iowa State Fair with some friends on Sunday. We made it out there around 9:15 to meet the Coppola's and August's. We had fun going through the barns, Varied Industries Building, Birthing Barn, and eating lots of food. Riley fell asleep around 12 and the Coppola's and August's all left around 12:30. Brett and I decided that we would meet up with my parents, Brother and his family, and my uncle John and cousin Janie. We stayed until we were all exhausted and left around 4:45. It was a good day at the Fair and Riley loved all of the excitement. We tried two new (to us) fair foods this year: Fried Veggies and Frozen S'Mores. We also had to have a corn dog. Hopefully next year we'll make it to the Fair more than one day!
