Update: Finally A Little Progress

We took Riley back to the Dr. on Wednesday and it seems that she is starting to get better. He said that she definitely is not getting any worse, and no where close to hospital material! We were relieved to hear that. I'm always afraid that I overreact. But being a first-time mom, this is all new to me. So in the words of Sparkle Girl (American Idol, anyone?): Take it, take it, take it, TAKE IT!

We are still giving Riley the breathing treatments every four hours and they seem to be helping loosen everything up in her chest. She has been eating better and once again loving all of her solids. Sleeping, is a different story. The past few nights she has decided to wake up every three to four hours. She used to fuss a little and then go right back to sleep. Now, she wants to get up and see what everyone else is up to. Hopefully this will pass once she is completely over the bronchiolitis!

One last thing, Riley has really started to notice Sam the cat. She can find him wherever he is in the room and whine until you take her over to see him. It is really the first signs of her mom's personality shining through! She wants the cat, and she wants him now! Patience is not her thing. Sam reluctantly allows her to grab (not pet) his fur for 10 seconds tops and then is out of there. He doesn't know what he has in store for the rest of his life!
