Riley won this week's Star 102.5's Person Magazine Cover contest. She truly is our cover girl. I was on the air this morning at 6:45am. I'm sure I sounded just wonderful. I was walking around the house trying to stay calm, while Brett and Riley were "resting their eyes" in the bedroom. Yes, she was so excited to be a celebrity that she didn't even wake up! As the cover girl, Riley gets a $50 savings bond.
Last night we went to see the Miss Iowa and Miss Teen Iowa pageant at Roosevelt. Brett's sister, Libby, works for Future Productions, the company that organizes the pageant. Who knows, maybe Riley will be a future Miss Iowa herself!
