We went to Ely, Minnesota with the Coppola's this past weekend. It was a long 8 hour drive and temperatures ranged from 50s-60s, but definitely a great time. Riley did great in the car. We weren't sure how it was going to go, but we were pleasantly surprised. She eventually took a two hour nap and then we stopped for dinner. We were back on the road within 30 minutes and drove the rest of the way with a sleeping baby. We arrived in Ely at about 11:15 pm.
Riley did not care for her first-ever boat ride. It was a bit scary to be woken up in the middle of the night, bundled up, strapped into a life jacket, and put into a boat. Why was she on a boat in the middle of the night, you ask? Because, the cabin is on an island!
