- She is crawling with her tummy off of the ground more than army crawling now.
- Just yesterday she started to say "dadadada" and "gagagaga." I've been telling her to say "dadada" and "mamamama" lately and this is what she's picked up.
- Also yesterday, she had her first meal of all big people food. For breakfast she had bite sized pieces of egg yolk, kiwi, and toast. She loved it. It seems that she prefers the texture of finger food to baby food. I'm hoping this is why she's never been a great baby food eater. She is still finishing up some purees that I've made and stored. We also found that she likes some organic baby food called "happybaby" food that combines several fruits and veggies together.
- She loves puffs! We can now give her a whole puff at a time and she won't gag on it.
- She is still on the neosure high calorie formula. She's still not drinking a ton and is still pretty inconsistent with how much she drinks. She will usually drink around 18-22 ounces a day.
- She continues to wake up at night. She's been waking pretty consistently around 12am and 4:30-5:30 every morning. She usually wants a bottle. With her weight being low, we feed her when she wants it.
- She can now stand up in her crib. Another reason why she wakes up at night. Many times she will either be sitting up or standing up when you finally make it in to her room during the night.
- Several times at home and at Hedy's house she's fallen asleep sitting up in her crib.
- She prefers to stand up and will cruise all around her toys and the fireplace.
- She learned how to go up stairs.
- She will immediately try to get down from a chair or couch. She's a bit of a daredevil.
- She puts everything in her mouth! Everything! She even puts pretend things in her mouth! We've had two choking incidents and a couple near-choking incidents in the past couple months. Needless to say, we are constantly checking her mouth for paper, carpet, fuzzies, whatever!
- She loves her walker and can now maneuver it all around our main level. It's funny to see her little legs go in it. We may have a couple banged up corners, but it is great when you have a little one who you can't trust for a second to not put something in her mouth!
- She has tiny feet like the rest of us. I bought her a pair of shoes for her pictures that were size 2 and they are still big.
- She will climb over anything to get something she wants.
- She's started to show her frustration when she doesn't get what she wants...like more puffs, or to be held.

Harper Grace: 9 Months
Harper is 9 months old today. Just in the last couple of days we've really seen a lot of changes in her. It's hard to believe that she will be a year old in just 3 short months. How precious time flies. Here's what she's been up to:
